In late June, BYU Basketball announced their non-conference schedule for the 2018-19 season. Compared to the last few years, this schedule will be much tougher, with some marquee matchups that will boost the Cougars’ RPI.
All in all, BYU will play 15 non-conference games, with 8 at home, 5 on the road, and 2 at neutral sites.
With one exception, the Cougars will play most of their home games and games against easier opponents early in the schedule, with most of the difficult games coming after Thanksgiving.
Much of that is likely due to Nick Emery’s nine-game suspension to start the season.
