On Thursday, sophomore guard Rylan Bergersen announced that he will enter the transfer from the BYU Basketball program. Although there were no public rumors of him leaving it should not be a big surprise. Bergersen saw his playing time go down as the season progressed going from about 12 minutes per game in the first half of the season, to averaging two minutes per game in the last eight games of the year.
During his career Bergersen averaged 1.9 points, 0.7 rebounds but shot a good 43.5% from the field. Bergersen likely would not have seen his numbers increase much with none of the shooting guards graduating this or likely leaving this season.
