For Kyle Collinsworth, it’s been a while. It’s been a while since he was tearing up opponents with BYU basketball. A while since he set the NCAA record for career triple-doubles.
But Collinsworth, who has been in the NBA G-League, kept working. And now he’s reached his goal by signing a two-way deal with the Dallas Mavericks.
Collinsworth has been tearing up the G-League, so the contract is certainly well deserved. On the year, he was averaging 11.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game with the Texas Legends.
As a signee of a two-way deal, Collinsworth can only spend 45 days with the Dallas Mavericks this season.
