Another year, another loss in Moraga.

St Mary’s pulled away late in the first half and BYU never threatened the Gaels in the second half as St Mary’s won 88-66.

The game was tied at 25 with under 6 minutes to go in the first half, but St Mary’s went on a 17-4 run to pull away and not ever look back the rest of the night.

Saint Mary’s offense was flowing all game, as the Gaels shot 55% from the field and turned the ball over only seven times. Jordan Ford, the leading scorer in the WCC, led the Gaels with 23 points and South Florida transfer Malik Fitts added 18 points.
