Well, that was ugly.
BYU kept it close for the first 10 minutes, but Mississippi State jumped out to a first half double digit lead and ran past BYU in the second half in a 103-81 loss for BYU.
Yoeli Childs was good for BYU (25 points), but just about everything else was abysmal for the Cougars. The team looked unprepared and Mississippi State’s length and athleticism smothered BYU on both ends of the court.
The Bulldogs are ranked 19 and obviously much better than BYU, but getting blown out like they did is embarrassing.
