BYU basketball: Cougars hold on to beat Weber State 73-68 at Vivint Arena

SALT LAKE CITY — Chase Fischer scored 21 points to go with his four steals and five rebounds as he helped the BYU Cougars beat Weber State 73-68 at Vivint Arena.

Weber State's Jeremy Senglin had another strong game, scoring 20 while dishing out five assists. Joel Bolomboy had yet-another double-double (12 and 12), but the Wildcats fell to BYU for the 13th straight time.

BYU, who was missing Nick Emery to suspension, led WSU for most of the game, including the entire second half, but could never completely put away the Wildcats until the final whistle.
