BYU basketball analysis: L.J. Rose's performance vs. Utah State shows what he means to Cougars

Brigham Young Cougars guard L.J. Rose (5) looks up court as he takes off on a fast break as BYU and USU play at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016.

SALT LAKE CITY — BYU senior guard L.J. Rose had his most complete game as a Cougar on Wednesday night in a 77-63 victory over Utah State.

It was the kind of effort — 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists and a steal — that showed just how much impact the graduate transfer can have in 2016-17 on a young but talented team.
