BYU baseball: lefty Aaron Cross transfers to BYU

Left-handed pitcher Aaron Cross is transferring to BYU’s baseball team after signing a recent letter of intent.

Cross, 6-foot-0, 175, is from Rialto, California, and was at San Diego State for two years and pitched this past season at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California. He prepped at Mater Dei High School where he was coached by former Cougar Burt Call. He will have two years of eligibility at BYU.

“Aaron brings a wealth of experience and he's committed to helping our program reach new heights,” BYU coach Mike Littlewood said. “He'll play a huge role for us immediately and Cougar fans will love the energy he brings to the field.
