BYU Baseball: Bat Cats will be fine after disappointing 2018

Fans of BYU Cougar Baseball saw a 2017 team that won the West Coast Conference Tournament, received an invitation to the National Tournament, and even won a game in the first round. However, 2018 showed a different side of Cougar Baseball. BYU went from first to worst in the WCC and finished with an overall record of 22-28.

This was a disappointing season for BYU Baseball. Head Coach Mike Littlewood has stated that the culture of the team was not where he wanted, and thus they let go about 25-30 percent of their team including many players who still had eligibility.
