Last season, BYU Baseball finished with a 22-28 overall record. It was the worst season since 2014 when the the Cougars went 22-31 and one of the worst seasons in program history. BYU Baseball hasn’t ever really been known for putting great teams together with the best ever finish for them being in all the way back in 1983 when they went 54-11 on the season.
This season, the Cougars are setting themselves up for a real chance to top that. At exactly the halfway point of the regular season they sit at 21-5 overall with most of the remaining season being against teams that are not as good as the first half of the season.
