BYU officially announced a 3-year contract extension for Kalani Sitake, keeping BYU’s head coach under contract through 2023. Kalani’s previous contract was set to expire after 2020.
“We are pleased to announce a contract extension for Kalani,” said Holmoe. We believe in him and the direction of the program. Together we are committed to creating a bright future for BYU football.”
Tom Holmoe first announced the extension to the players after the Idaho State game by revealing a “#ExtendKalani” t-shirt under his jacket.
Kalani’s tenure has been up and down, but the extension comes in the midst of one of the toughest schedules in BYU history.
