Looks like another old MWC/WAC rival is willing to schedule the BYU Football team again.
According to a report from Robert Gagliardi of Wyosports.net, BYU and Wyoming “have been in talks about the series for weeks, but nothing has been finalized.” Gagliardi is reporting that the schools are discussing a possible home-and-home series.
Wyoming’s schedule is locked up through the 2021 season, so unless the Cowboys shift around some games, the earliest the two schools could meet would be 2022. BYU currently has 7 games scheduled for the 2022 season, with 4 of them versus Power 5 schools and a fifth game versus Boise State.
