Based on his son’s testimony, a Salt Lake City man is charged with murdering and cremating three men

A Salt Lake City man has been charged with murdering three men in 2014, and the case hinges on the confession of his son, who said he helped cover up his father’s crimes.

Richard Christopher, 53, is facing three first-degree felony counts of aggravated murder in the deaths of Danny Kiko Gallegos, 35; Braden Parker Emerson, 23; and Levi Joseph Collins, 34.

The three men disappeared Nov. 1, 2014. A day later, a vehicle belonging to Gallegos was found with blood stains and a possible bullet hole. Gallegos was a drug dealer who had been cooperating with federal authorities at the time of his disappearance.
