Analysis: BYU-Missouri Position Preview

Tanner Mangum threw for 293 yards and a score to only one interception, but the Cougars still struggled to put up points against 4-5 San Jose State. He's now passed for 2,198 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Mangum is in for a tough test against the Missouri pass defense that allows only 177 yards per game through the air, 14th best in the nation.

Luckily for Mangum, Missouri's passing offense has been brutal this season. The Tigers average only 169 yards passing per game, 111th in the nation. Maty Mauk began the season as the starter and played in five games, but was suspended for the rest of the year on Nov.
