PROVO — Amateur Patrick Fishburn fired a sizzling 10-under par 62 to take the first round lead in the 54-hole Siegfried & Jensen Utah Open at Riverside Country Club on Friday.
Fishburn, the Utah State Amateur champion and a junior at BYU this fall, shot an impressive 7-under-par 29 on the front nine of his collegiate home course.
