Alta High School students reimagine famous works of art in sidewalk chalk

Dozens of Alta High School students stepped outside the classroom on Friday for a different kind of art lesson. The assignment: re-create famous works of art on the school’s sidewalk in chalk, including “The Wounded Deer” by Frida Kahlo. The event, called “Chalk the Walk,” has been a school tradition since 1985.
