Following a disappointing one-point loss to the Pacific Tigers last Saturday, the BYU Cougars rebounded Thursday night at home with a 83-63 win over the Pepperdine Waves.
The turning point: Over the final 2:03 of the first half and the opening 4:19 of the second, the Cougars went on a 21-6 run to stretch a two-point lead to 17, and they didn’t look back.
3 keys:
- BYU shot over 58 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the 3-point line
- The Cougars made 18 free throws on 27 attempts compared to just eight on 13 tries for the Waves.
