PROVO — BYU extended its winning streak to three games by leading throughout in a 82-67 victory over Loyola Marymount at the Marriott Center on Thursday night.
The turning point: After Loyola Marymount cut its deficit to single digits on a 3-pointer by Donald Gipson with 6:11 to play, BYU scored the next eight points to salt the game away.
The hero: Elijah Bryant had a game-high 29 points, hitting five 3-pointers, and added eight rebounds, three steals and two assists. Yoeli Childs had 15 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks and two assists.
