Fun fact No. 1 - Yes, Jeff Grimes is his father

The last name Grimes is familiar among BYU football fans because of the solid legacy left by his father, Jeff, who was the Cougars offensive coordinator. The elder Grimes was originally hired by BYU in 2004 as an offensive line coach, left for another job two years later, then returned to Provo in 2018 as BYU's offensive coordinator.
