What I'm Watching for Butler basketball vs. Seton Hall: Even NIT is a longshot now

INDIANAPOLIS – Butler resumes a stretch of four road games out of five by playing Seton Hall in Big East basketball Wednesday night at Newark, N.J.

Seton Hall (16-9, 7-8) is tied for sixth in the standings but remains on track to make the NCAA tournament. If the Pirates fall to No. 8 seed, they could again meet Butler (13-15, 6-11) on March 9 in the 8/9 game to open the Big East tournament.

Seton Hall is 8-3 in the past 11 meetings of this series, including a 71-56 victory on Jan. 4 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
