That was the message Gordon Hayward delivered to the Butler Bulldogs, according to a Twitter post by Brandon Crone, the coordinator of basketball operations.
Hayward worked out at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Monday morning. He was reunited with this college coach, Brad Stevens, when he signed with the Boston Celtics as a free agent this summer.
In seven seasons with the Utah Jazz, the 27-year-old from Brownsburg increased his scoring average in each season: 5.4, 11.8, 14.1, 16.2, 19.3, 19.7, 21.9.
He was chosen for the first time to the NBA All-Star Game.
