TERRE HAUTE – Belle Obert hit a game-tying 3-point field goal with seven seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, but Indiana State would outscore Butler 11-4 over the final five minutes to record a 70-63 victory on Monday night at the Hulman Center.
Obert posted a double-double with 14 points and a team-high 11 rebounds to help Butler erase an eight-point deficit after three quarters. BU dominated the fourth 20-12 to force overtime, but the rally would fall just short as Indiana State held on for their fourth win of the season.
