INDIANAPOLIS -- Myles Tate, a 6-foot point guard from Roebuck, S.C., is on the Butler campus this weekend for his first official basketball recruiting visit.
The Bulldogs already have two commitments in the 2020 class, putting them No. 12 nationally (No. 3 in the Big East) in early team rankings by 247 Sports. Butler could sign as many as five high school players but more likely will bring in four so they have room on the roster for a transfer.
Tate recently cut his list of finalists to seven. Besides Butler, they are: South Carolina, Mississippi, Pittsburgh, Appalachian State, Murray State and College of Charleston.
