INDIANAPOLIS – Heading into November, Tyler Lewis was a career 27 percent shooter on 3-pointers. To reach the NCAA tournament, Butler needed him to be more accurate. To play much this season, he needed to be more accurate.
So July, August, September, those were months when the ball-handling and passing whiz did little more than shoot 3s. He didn't enroll in the second summer session of school.
He could not estimate how many attempts he took. Two hours a day, that’s a lot of 3s.
