An elite group of the Butler men and women track and field team went head-to-head against 42 other teams at the prestigious Meyo Invitational on Feb. 3-4 at the University of Notre Dame.
Erik Peterson dominated once again as he posted a personal and Butler-best time of 7:51.22 in the 3000-meter run. He shattered the previous school record held by Olympian Scott Overall by more than four seconds. Peterson’s 3000-meter run now ranks No. 6 in the world on an oversized track (longer than 200-meters).
