North Central’s Kris Wilkes is officially considering 11 schools, including two from the state.
The 6-8 Wilkes, ranked No. 14 nationally on the 247sports composite for the 2017 class, is planning official visits to North Carolina (Aug. 26-28) and UCLA (Sept. 22-24). In addition to those programs, Wilkes is also considering Butler, Indiana, Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State, Connecticut, Washington and Xavier.
Wilkes will likely make another cut to his list in another week or two. He was named Marion County Player of the Year as a junior after he averaged 22.3 points and 5.
