INDIANAPOLIS – The overriding takeaway from Thursday’s release of the Big East basketball schedule is this:
Neither the conference nor the major networks consider the Butler Bulldogs suitable for a big stage.
Butler has two appearances on Fox — including Dec. 7 against Florida, a preseason Top 10 team, at Hinkle Fieldhouse — and none on CBS. Only DePaul, with no games on either network, has fewer exposures.
