MILWAUKEE – After successive home defeats, coach Chris Holtmann might have ruffled Butler players by questioning team leadership. The outcome of that rebuke was a rebound victory.

“Our seniors absolutely carried us,” Holtmann said.

Benched junior Kelan Martin is supposed to be an All-America candidate. Freshman guard Kamar Baldwin is perhaps a future All-American.

But on Tuesday night, it was seniors Andrew Chrabascz, Avery Woodson and Tyler Lewis sensing urgency. They carried the 21st-ranked Bulldogs to a pivotal Big East win at Marquette, 68-65:

>> Chrabascz scored eight consecutive Butler points in the closing five minutes, stretching a 58-55 lead to 66-58.
