Insider: Butler opponents don't know which Dawg will bite

WASHINGTON — Beating top-ranked Villanova at Hinkle Fieldhouse was hard. Beating desperate Georgetown at the Verizon Center was harder.

Harder than all that?

Identifying which Bulldog is going to bite you.

On Saturday, most dangerous Dawgs were Kamar Baldwin and Nate Fowler. Others did their part, too, but those two effectively decided the outcome. Fowler “gets the game ball,” said teammate Kethan Savage, who made a triumphant return to the D.C. area.

The 18th-ranked Bulldogs pulled away from Georgetown in overtime to win 85-76 before a crowd of 8,273.
