So, are we ready to say Butler is elite? Or decent? Or mediocre?
Uh, no.
“I think it’s hard right now to know who’s what,” Butler coach Chris Holtmann said. “We don’t know what we are right now. Honestly, we don’t.”
The Bulldogs will have a better idea of who they are after an upcoming stretch of three games out west in five days.
Butler (4-0) will meet Vanderbilt (2-2) on Thanksgiving night in a semifinal of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. The winner will play No. 9 Arizona (4-0) or Santa Clara (2-2) on Friday for the championship.
