INDIANAPOLIS — So much for the Big East lead, a Top 10 ranking, a four-game winning streak and a 14-game home winning streak.
Georgetown ruined all of that Saturday night, shooting 73 percent in the second half to beat the No. 11 Bulldogs 85-81 before a sellout crowd of 9,116 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
L.J. Peak scored 22 points, and Rodney Pryor and Jesse Govan 20 each for the Hoyas (12-10, 3-6). They shot 64 percent for the game to Butler's 55 percent.
Kelan Martin scored 22 and Andrew Chrabascz 16 for Butler (18-4, 7-3).
