Eddie Pennington and Sean Keeve once brought their respective volleyball teams into battle against each other. Now, Pennington and Keeve take their seats inside Hinkle Fieldhouse — on the same bench. Both men now serve as assistant coaches for the Butler University volleyball team.
Pennington came from the University of Illinois-Springfield, where he primarily assisted with defense and serve and receive for two years.
Keeve, a Butler volunteer assistant coach, spent the last two years assisting at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, before the school was suspended due to financial challenges.
