Returning to Indiana as an assistant under Indiana Pacers coach Rick Carlisle represents a full-circle moment for former Butler University star Ronald Nored.
Nored, a two-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year, was born in Indianapolis (though he went to high school in Alabama) and began his coaching career less than 20 miles west of Indy in Brownsburg.
"I'm really excited about being back here in Indy," Nored said. "This is a special place to me. But the thing about starting down the road at Brownsburg High School, and my coaching career now being with the Indiana Pacers — it's been a whirlwind over the last nine or so years.
