INDIANAPOLIS — We’ve seen him play for Zionsville High and DePauw University. We saw him coach Butler, and now the Boston Celtics. Every step of the way – every single step – Brad Stevens has wildly overachieved.
Some day we need to see him coach the U.S. Olympic team.
Not sure how a man can wildly overachieve in a position where a gold medal is the only option, but Stevens would find a way. It’s who he is, what he does.
Stevens won’t get the chance at the next Olympiad, the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo.
