INDIANAPOLIS — It won’t always be like this. That’s what Butler coach Chris Holtmann keeps telling Butler’s best freshman in years, Kamar Baldwin. He won’t always hit that shot. Won’t always complete that pass. Won’t always make it look as easy as he is making it look, three games into a career that has started with the subtlety of a sunrise.
“Kamar’s going to hit adversity,” Holtmann was telling me after Butler dismantled Bucknell 86-60 on Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
He hasn’t yet, I helpfully point out.
Holtmann smiles.
“He’ll have his ups and downs,” he says.
