OMAHA – The Bulldogs took a 77-49 loss at Creighton on Sunday moving their overall record to 7-9. Brittany Ward scored a team-high 16 points in the loss, but the Bulldogs were limited to just 35% shooting on 19 made field goals.
Ward came out hot and scored 12 of her 16 points in the first half. She knocked down two 3-point field goals to her scoring total and just missed a double-double by grabbing nine rebounds. Fellow freshman forward Tori Schickel was also active on the glass with eight boards. She added 10 points and a steal.
