CHICAGO – A lopsided second quarter allowed the nationally-ranked DePaul Blue Demons to pull away from Butler on Sunday afternoon. DePaul ended the second on a 22-3 scoring run to take a 20-point lead at the half. The final outcome was a 102-63 decision for the home team.
Blaire Langlois was the top performer for BU in a losing effort. She hit five of her 10 3-point field goals to net 19 points. Joining Langlois with a double figure scoring total was freshman Brittany Ward who chipped in with 14 points.
Langlois got off to a hot start by knocking down three of her first four 3-point field goal attempts.
