@ButlerWBB Earns 65-50 Win Over Providence

INDIANAPOLIS – The Bulldogs snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 65-50 win over the Providence Friars on Sunday afternoon. Butler ended the game on a 9-0 scoring run to secure the victory.

A huge 3-point field goal from Blaire Langlois with 1:28 remaining in the fourth quarter allowed Butler to grab momentum for the rest of the contest. Langlois drilled a triple from the wing just steps in front of the home bench at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

The shot went down and the whistle blew as Providence was called for a foul. Aliyah Miller tried to run through the pick as the ball was in the air to give BU a pair of free throws.
