CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Butler baseball team won for the first time this season on Sunday. After dropping the first two games of the weekend at Charleston Southern, the Bulldogs fought back to win the final game 4-3 in 11 innings.
Butler struck first in the second inning when Chris Marras doubled to lead off the inning. Two batters later, he scored on a fielding error putting the Bulldogs up 1-0.
That score would hold until the bottom of the fifth inning, when Charleston Southern's Cole Murphy led off the inning with a home run off of Nick Morton.
