Butler split a pair of Sunday contests to close its Spring Break trip to Florida. The Bulldogs went an impressive 6-2 in the Sunshine State and now boast a 14-11 record.
Sarah Dixon and Kaitlin Doud each had two hits for the Bulldogs with Doud knocking in Butler's run in the bottom of the fifth to tie the contest at one.
In the closing game of the trip, the Bulldogs got on the board early, using a six-run first inning to take a 6-3 win over UMass-Lowell. Butler batted around in the frame, using three hits and two UML errors to put up the six runs.
