A 3-for-4 performance from Brandyce Sallee and a two-run homerun by Alyssa Lach sparked a 9-1 Butler win over Ball State Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis. Butler improves to 17-12 on the season leading into its first BIG EAST match-up of the season this weekend.
Butler scored three runs in the third inning before erupting for five runs in the fourth. Sallee doubled in two runs before she scored on a Kaitlin Doud single. A few batters later Alyssa Lach sent a blast over the left field for a two-run shot and an 8-1 lead.
