Former Butler Bulldogs teammates Shelvin Mack and Gordon Hayward are set to be reunited.
On Thursday, ahead of the NBA's 3 p.m. trade deadline, Mack was traded from Atlanta to the Utah Jazz in exchange for a second-round pick, according to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Mack spent three-plus seasons with the Hawks primarily as a reserve point guard. (He hasn't started a game for Atlanta since 2014.) He appeared in 24 games this season, averaging a career-low 7.5 minutes a game.
Meanwhile, Hayward is averaging career highs in points (19.9) and rebounds (5.1), playing more than 36 minutes a game.
