@ButlerMBB Adds Memphis Transfer Avery Woodson

Butler men's basketball program has added Memphis transfer Avery Woodson, head coach Chris Holtmann announced Monday, April 25.

Woodson played in 64 games over his two seasons at Memphis, starting 45 times. His 77 three-point field goals made and .430 three-point shooting percentage during the 2015-16 season each rank as the fifth-best marks in Memphis single-season history. He was second in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) in three-pointers made and third in three-point percentage for the season.

Woodson appeared in all 32 games during the 2014-15 season. He averaged 7.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. He tied for the team lead with 32 steals.
