The BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships will kick off on Friday, May 13, at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
The two-day meet will continue through Saturday, May 14, bringing Butler together with a full roster of conference foes: Creighton, DePaul, Georgetown, Marquette, Providence, St. John's, Seton Hall, Villanova, and Xavier.
The Villanova men and women will look to defend their 2015 titles.
On the women's side, Butler will be represented by the following: Emily Morrone in the 100- and 200-meter dashes; Katherine Turner in the 1,500-meter run; Maddie Westerhoff in the 5,000; All-American Olivia Pratt in the 10,000; Lauren Bloom and Ariel Higgins in the 100-meter high hurdles; Allie Vogeler in the 400-meter hurdles; Caroline Kaplan, Laura Riches and Colleen Weatherford in the 3,000-meter steeplechase; and Madison Bieganski in the women's heptathlon.
