Butler vs. St. John’s: Beyond the box score

The Butler men’s basketball team fell to 5-7 in conference play after an overtime loss to St. John’s, 77-73. The Bulldogs committed a season-high 18 turnovers in the game. Here are three takeaways from a heartbreaking loss.

  1. The Bulldogs played 30 solid minutes in regulation, but played a bad 10 minutes to start the game, and that ultimately cost them.

With 10:43 remaining in the first half, Butler trailed St.
