The Butler University volleyball team fell in five sets to DePaul University on Oct. 3. This match was the first of three in four days for Butler.
“We’ll use this match as fire to right the ship,” defensive specialist Taylor Takeda said.
Butler (5-12, 2-3 Big East) lost 25-22, 12-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-11 in the five-set thriller. Junior outside hitter Brooke Gregory posted 15 kills in the match, while sophomore outside hitter Shay Horn added 13.
