The Butler volleyball team earned two hard-fought victories on the east coast this weekend. On Friday, Nov. 17, Butler beat Seton Hall University and clinched a Big East tournament berth. The Bulldogs dictated the tempo, as they defeated the Pirates 25-21, 25-14, 22-25, 25-14. Butler held a 14-3 blocking advantage. Senior setter Makayla Ferguson posted a team-high 42 assists in the match. “We played really well,” Ferguson said. “We were able to come together as a team and fight through some tough plays.
