INDIANAPOLIS – Butler has offered a basketball scholarship to James Graham III, a 6-8 forward from suburban Milwaukee in the 2021 class.
Graham, of Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wis., averaged 21 points and seven rebounds last season. He helped the Knights to a 27-1 record and state championship in 2019, and they were 22-3 in 2020 before the state championship was canceled by the pandemic.
Offers are pouring in for Graham, including DePaul, Georgetown and Xavier from the Big East and Michigan State, Maryland, Iowa and Rutgers of the Big Ten. He posted news of Butler’s offer on Twitter.
