The Butler softball team moved to 13-22 (2-4 in the Big East) on the year after taking the finale of the three-game series against Seton Hall on April 7th. Christina Candotti’s home run in the top of the eighth inning secured a 4-3 win over the Pirates
After Butler fell in both games of the Saturday doubleheader, the win allowed the Bulldogs to avoid the the weekend sweep.
Candotti had not hit a homerun in her first 50 at-bats of the season.
