INDIANAPOLIS –Butler, which has missed out on its top basketball recruiting targets, is taking a big a swing at another one.
A Butler coach was in Tuesday to see top-40 shooting guard Tyler Herro, according to national recruiting analyst Corey Evans of Rivals. Herro, a 6-4 high school senior from Greenfield, Wis., recently rescinded a commitment to Wisconsin,
There will be considerable competition for Herro. He recently performed at a USA Basketball mini-camp. Kentucky, Kansas and Villanova are all reported to be pursuing him.
